At The Project, we understand that training and a quality nutrition plan work hand in hand. Our team of sports nutrition specialists are on hand to offer you personal guidance and advice.
During your journey with us, we provide you with a 3 Phase nutrition programme building your knowledge and understanding step by step in a simple and easy to follow way.
You will kick off the programme with a reset. We remove all sensitive food groups out of the diet and reduce carbohydrate intake. This allows our bodies metabolism to naturally pick back up and allow an increase in insulin sensitivity.
The reset is not just for weight loss but for all goals, as once we have reset our body it will allow for better digestion and absorption of foods moving forward.
The Performance Plan works alongside your training programme and follows a strategy called ‘carb cycling’.
At a basic level you will aim to consume the majority of your carbohydrates and calories around our more intense training sessions. On days you don’t train you will consume less carbohydrates as the energy demand is less. The benefit of this is increased performance and recovery whilst still improving your body composition.
We aim to educate you and teach you how to fuel your body effectively. Through our Project Nutrition Coaching App you will have your own personal nutritionist in your pocket. Your personal plans will be updated based on your progress through weekly check ins.
For more personalized support and advice you can consult with our nutrition specialist and have your diet customized to your specific needs. This could involve more advanced nutrition strategies or even strip it back to basics and develop baseline habits.
